Caring Transitions Hosts Estate Sale Jan. 23 & 24
Caring Transitions will host an estate sale this weekend, Jan. 23 & 24, in North Barrington. The beautiful 7,800 sq. ft. home is filled with a lifetime of collections paired with fine furnishings. The sale will be presented in two online auctions: the first consists of vintage airline posters, military; the second consists of decorative art and fine furnishings. Virtual Yoga, Chocolate & Wine on Jan. 28
Join Caring Women's Connection for a Virtual Yoga Night on Jan. 28 at 6:30 pm. This fun event includes live-streamed yoga, as well as chocolate and wine that participants can either have delivered or pick-up. Raffle tickets can be purchased for a chance to win prizes, and proceeds benefit scholarships for students in the Lake County Area. Cost is $25 per person. Click here to register.
Rahab's Daughters Seeks Donations for Super Bowl Trip to Stop Human Trafficking
More than 10,000 women and children are trafficked annually during the week of the Super Bowl. While most sports fans are gearing up for an evening of fun and football, a team from Rahab's Daughters will travel to combat human trafficking at the Super Bowl. They are seeking donations to help fund their upcoming trip to Tampa, FL, where they will work in conjunction with local organizations and law enforcement to combat trafficking and raise awareness around the issue. Virtual Accountability Group for Weight & Exercise
Get back on track with your weight and exercise goals by joining a supportive, non-judgmental accountability group on the first and third Mondays of the month starting Feb. 1. The virtual meetings, led by Ellen Corey, NBC-HWC, M.A. of Coaching By Corey, LLC, are held from 6:30-8:00 pm and include: discussion, coaching, meditation, and support from other members. Lake Zurich Community Unit District 95 is seeking business owners to serve as mentors for their mxINC program being launched in March. Mentors are asked to share their stories with middle school students embarking on their entrepreneurial learning journey.
