UPCOMING PROGRAM

This week we welcome Don Fox, Chief Executive Officer of Firehouse Subs. Mr. Fox is a restaurant industry veteran with 45 years of experience, whose first job was scrubbing pots and pans at the dish sink of a local Italian restaurant in NJ. He's come quite a long way since! A frequent speaker and panelist at industry conferences and universities, this will be one you won't want to miss!

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Last week we welcomed Mark Missigman, John Maxwell Team Certified Coach. Mr. Missigman spoke about the "21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership" and how you can insure success through effective, intelligent and strong leadership that influences people to perform at their best. As John Maxwell says "Leadership is influence; nothing more, nothing less".

ANNOUNCEMENT

Due to the upcoming renovations to San Jose Country Club, we will be temporarily changing the venue for our weekly luncheons. Beginning in June of this year, we will attend our regular meetings at the beautiful Epping-Forest Yacht & Country Club. More details to come as the date approaches!

NEW MEMBERSHIP COMPETITION

APRIL GOLF OUTING

Join us Friday, April 19th at The Golf Club at South Hampton!

This course is designed to offer every golfer the appropriate risk/reward situations that challenge the experienced player and offer encouragement to the novice. Sixteen large lakes and over 60 contoured bunkers, in combination with meticulous landscaping, provide players with a superbly conditioned facility. The distinctive layout will test shot-making abilities and require the use of every club in the bag.

YAP Barbeque

The Annual YAP BBQ is upon Us!!!! We Need your Help!!!!

We are in need of Sponsors to help the students of Pine Forest Elementary School.

Location: 3929 Grant Rd. Jacksonville, FL 32207

All proceeds go to help pay the bus fares for the Safety Patrol students' trip to Washington, DC. NO Student left behind!

Sponsorships are $200 and include the benefit of having your company name on the banner and students' T-shirts at the event and in the meeting hall on April 24th!

The club will have BBQ tickets for sale at $10.00 each. This is a great meal for a great cause!

We are also in need of volunteers for the dinner on April 25 th. This will include setting up the tent and serving dinners with a choice of two shifts: 12pm-3pm or 3pm-6pm.

SBMC Car Show

Our Annual Car Show will be held on May 11th from 10am - 3pm.
