Students and staff across the district will have access to a more robust Internet network when they return to the classroom in August.

The Board of Education approved Internet cabling improvements at Meadowbrook and Westmoor Schools at the June meeting, which will complete network infrastructure improvements at all district schools.

The summer cabling projects at Westmoor and Meadowbrook will expand data points in the classrooms and increase network capacity for student and staff devices.

As the district kicks off Learning First as part of the strategic plan Navigate 28, improving the network is the foundation for a successful program. Work was completed at Greenbriar over winter break. Northbrook Junior High was started at spring break and was also completed this month.
