Welbrook Senior Living South Bay was celebrating its third anniversary with an event open to the public. The Cherry Blossom Festival-themed event featured a variety of food and entertainment, including a traditional Taiko drum performance by Asano Taiko and a mochi pounding demonstration called “mochitsuki.” Appetizers and cocktails were from King’s Hawaiian, Mitsuwa Market, Lisa’s Bon Appétit and Welbrook South Bay.  Read More...

Show Your Support for our Armed Forces & Connect With Your Community!
Saturday, May 19th, the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce and UCLA Health will present the 3rd annual 5K For Freedom in conjunction with the 59th Annual Torrance Armed Forces Day Celebration.

Torrance is the longest-running city in the nation to host a Department of Defense sanctioned Armed Forces Day Celebration. This is an incredible honor for our city and our community at large.

The 5K For Freedom offers civilians the unique opportunity to show their support of our armed forces by running/walking alongside members of all branches of the military; who will be doing the 5K in full PT gear while calling out cadence.

This year, for the first time, registration is open to teams! What does this mean? Your team. Your co-workers. Your brand. All represented in a community-minded, all-ages event that offers a unique and fun way to build camaraderie and stand out from the crowd!
