Artisans of Mancos
Welcomes Lloyd Calvert
Artisans of Mancos, well known art cooperative in Mancos, CO, is pleased to welcome photographer Lloyd Calvert and his wife Madelynn to the gallery. Their work features dramatic photography of the local mountains as well as other area attractions, such as Mesa Verde, cattle drives, and local events.

Lloyd is a self taught photographer and desires to share the majestic effect of the mountains through his images. Although an image is only visual in nature, he strives to convey the other senses of the scene: the feeling of the crisp, clean mountain air; the smell of snow, rock, Aspen and pine; and the sounds of the spring runoff. His images are composed to set you in that moment, combining all of the senses to create that serene yet exciting feeling of being deep in the Colorado Rockies. Vivid connections with Colorado!

Lloyd's artwork in the gallery will range from smaller photos printed on metal and canvas to large, professionally framed pieces that could transform any wall into an experience. See more of Lloyd's work at www.lloydcalvert.com.
