OHR Celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the
Fair Housing Act this April
On April 10th, we hosted a Fair Housing Symposium in honor of the 50th Anniversary of the Fair Housing Act of 1968. The audience heard from housing advocates and providers on the many barriers to fair housing in DC, as well as the collaboration and innovation needed to close the gaps. Click the link below for a detailed Fair Housing booklet with resources in multiple surrounding jurisdictions.

Director's Note
Once again we as a city are called to take a stand against hate and discrimination that has no place in Washington, DC. The recent attacks on our LGBTQ and Jewish neighbors remind us that safety comes from building bridges across our differences, staying vigilant and standing up for our friends and neighbors.  If you or someone you know is a victim of or witness to an act of hate or bias, we are here to help. For more information on how we put our #DCValues in action to address all forms of bias and discrimination, visit ohr.dc.gov .

Yours in solidarity,
