The “Play it Forward Online Silent Auction for Accessible Playground Equipment” is in full swing.

  • There are a lot of exciting items available to purchase, including experiences with SHE staff and teachers, vacations, child activities, and new this year, classroom gift baskets

  • Several classes have donated themed gift baskets that are loaded with gift cards and a lot of other valuable items! The baskets are a great addition to the auction this year, and we know they will be a fun thing to have to kick-start your summer.

  • To view all of the items, go to: https://www.32auctions.com/SHEPlayItForward. Just remember that bidding closes at 8pm on Friday, April 5! The highest bidder will receive an email notification at auction close, and payment and pick-up will be arranged between SHE PTO and the winners via email.

Food Truck Friday is this Friday, April 5 from 4pm-7pm.   We hope you’ll join us for this new and fun community event.

  • We will have Devil Dog Grill, Mac ’N Noodles, Philly on the Go, and Lucky Mary’s Baking Company in attendance, so your whole family should be able to find something for everyone! Don’t forget a picnic blanket- the weather is supposed to be beautiful! The Castle View High School Pep Band will be around playing some live music for us!

  • Before or after you grab some food, head up to the library to view many of the items that are on the auction site! Our gift baskets will be out on display so you can get a good luck at everything in person.

  • While you’re in the library, stop at “Gift Card City,” where you’ll be able to purchase discounted gift cards and vouchers to local businesses! Purchase them on the spot- we will be able to accept cash, check or credit card!

Please join us for our next SAC
(School Accountability Committee) meeting on April 8th from 4:00-5:30
The purpose of the SAC is to inform, encourage and provide opportunities for parent and community members to be involved in the planning and evaluation of the school’s instructional program and quality improvement processes. The SAC makes recommendations concerning the school’s Performance, Improvement, Priority Improvement, or Turnaround plan, and meets to discuss implementation of the school’s plan. It also makes recommendations to the principal for prioritizing spending of school moneys; the SHE SAC is a great forum for parents to be involved in their child(ren)'s school.  The SAC welcomes all parents and community members to attend their meetings to learn more about the “business” of educating our students.
