Groundbreaking for FC Cincinnati
Commissioners Ed Humphrey and David Painter joined elected officials from throughout Clermont County and leadership of FC Cincinnati on Sept.19 at the club's groundbreaking for its training facility and youth academy in Milford.
During the ceremony, Jeff Berding, President and General Manager of the professional soccer team, announced that Mercy Health had purchased naming rights to the facility, which will be called Mercy Health Training Center.
The $30 million complex will be built on 24 acres on U.S. 50 near Interstate 275. It's expected to be completed within the year. Some of the practice fields will be installed earlier and ready for the team next winter.

Child Support Services offers amnesty for civil warrants
|
Clermont County Child Support Services is offering amnesty during the month of October to noncustodial parents who have outstanding civil warrants relating to child support. Amnesty gives these parents a chance to start fresh and begin paying child support again.
“Our message is that this is the right thing to do,” said Brenda Gilreath, Assistant Director of Child Support Services. “Parents who are in jail cannot hold a job, and cannot pay child support. If the parent is serious, we will do everything we can to help them so that they can help their children.”
There will be no fee for this service. If you know of anyone who might be eligible for this, please pass this information on. #OctoberAmnesty #Love&SupportGoTogether
