INVEST IN CREATIVE LEADERS
Carla Gedeon

Carla's home was destroyed by Israeli rockets, and her father’s best friend was killed by a bullet while he protected her father. She is studying graphic design not only because she likes drawing, but also because she wants to share with the world about the impact of the occupation through her compelling art.
Wad Mansara

This creative entrepreneur,
started producing and selling Covid masks through her Hebron based business, Gallery Promise Mansara.
Her company features her artwork, including paintings, embroidery, accessories, and Henna engraving. The coronavirus outbreak inspired her to decorate masks with the art of Palestinian embroidery.

Ismail Matar

Ismail is only able to flourish amidst seemingly insurmountable challenges like the Occupation and a global pandemic because of supporters like YOU who answer the call to be the key. Ismail challenges YOU to invest in the education and creative power of HOPE that you unlock when you believe in students like him.
Rev. Dr. Mitri’s life-giving work has been hit hard by Covid-19 this year and he needs our help. Please support Bright Stars of Bethlehem with a year-end gift, and unlock hope for the next generation of creative leaders in Palestine!
ISMAIL'S INTERPRETATION OF
"BE THE KEY"
“The man is reaching to the moon to give the key that will unlock hope. He is giving it to the man in the sea. The man in the sea has no opportunities but when he receives the key, his hope is unlocked.”

“I need to thank the donors that have been supporting Dar al-Kalima. You are making a difference for us. You have unlocked hope for my future. I thank you.”

- Ismail Matar, Student at Dar al-Kalima

Please consider unlocking hope for more creative Palestinian
leaders like Ismail.
