It's ARTigras Time
Celebrate the Arts with the City of DeKalb and Northern Illinois University May 4th & 5th in Downtown DeKalb and on the NIU campus.

This year’s  ARTigras  includes a Spring Art Walk, student art exhibitions, student/local art in downtown venues, and new this year… The Art of Tasting, and the Variety Show at the Egyptian Theatre featuring dance, theatrical and music performances.

The Art of Tasting ( May 4th ) is the perfect pairing of an art walk and progressive tasting. Enjoy an evening of strolling through Downtown DeKalb while taking in art and tasting new foods and libations. Tickets are on sale now .
Feliz Cinco de Mayo
Celebrate Mexican culture with a festive weekend full of music, food, wagon rides, and pi ñatas. This is a family weekend you wont want to miss!

May 5th: Cinco de Genoa
Be part of Genoa's first Cinco de Mayo Celebration. Enjoy the neighborhood block party atmosphere and live performances.

Live performances, family fun, and new this year, the Syco de Mayo Parade on Sunday.

This is a great weekend to stay and play in DeKalb County.

May 12th – Cider House Craft Night from 6-9 pm. It will be mixed media on an 8×10″ canvas and cost $45. Includes a glass of wine, appetizers, and supplies. 30 people max.
