Meet the Jung Society of Utah Members

I'm a psychologist in private practice in Millcreek, UT. My passion is cultivating a life of wisdom and love and embodied awakening, a life of intimacy with all that we are. Providing a space in which self-exploration, transformation, and integration can occur is my vocation and privilege.

I received my doctorate in clinical psychology at American University in 1999, and have since gone on to receive specialty training in various maps of human experience and practices of mindfulness, embodiment, and movement. The biggest influences in my therapeutic work include:
  • Ken Wilber's integral theory
  • Pat Ogden's sensorimotor psychotherapy (a somatic-based therapy for trauma and attachment wounding)
  • Judith Blackstone's teachings on embodiment
An explorer of many spiritual traditions, I especially enjoy working with clients who seek support in their spiritual awakening process. I'm well-versed in several nondual wisdom traditions (e.g., Buddhism, Hinduism) as well as a teacher in the nondual school known as Trillium Awakening. This path helps individuals relax into the paradox of our identity as both finite and infinite, and to live as a finite embodiment of infinite Consciousness.

I am vitalized by moving (e.g., 5Rhythms dance, yoga, hiking), taking pictures (my way of meditating on beauty), reading poetry, and painting. As well, I'm the new volunteer program manager for the Jung Society.

No matter what I'm doing I'm  committed to the ever deepening process of integrating heart, mind, body, and soul in order to experience reality as it is -- beautiful, unknowable, and seamless.
