Project involvement opportunity for two Walker Road projects is May 30
The public is invited to comment on two Walker Road improvement projects at 5-7 p.m. May 30 at Holy Trinity Church, Fireside Room, 13715 SW Walker Road.

The two projects being exhibited are:
  • Walker Road/Murray Boulevard intersection project to add dual left-turn lanes and dedicated right-turn lanes at all four approaches to the intersection. A third southbound through lane will be added to Murray Boulevard, north of Walker Road through the intersection, becoming a dedicated right-turn lane at Bowerman Drive. Project includes replacing two bridges and two culverts near the intersection. More info

  • Walker Road Phase 2 (Schendel Avenue to Butner Road) project widens Walker Road to five lanes (two travel lanes in each direction and a center turn lane) with continuous bicycle and pedestrian facilities. The Walker Road/158th Avenue intersection will be widened to include dual left-turn lanes on all approaches. More info
