Dear Parents,
It has been such an awesome week seeing all of our students and staff this week. I am currently working part-time at school and part-time at home this week and next week with my goal of being full time by the week of April 15th. I am looking forward to our students showing off their awesome skills today at UIL. As a reminder, UIL will be at Hart elementary this year.
Next Tuesday, our 4th graders will shine when they take their STAAR Writing test. As a reminder, we will be a "closed" campus. This means that we will not have any lunch visitors or volunteers in the building for any grade level.

STAAR Dates - Mark your Calendar
Our 4th graders will be taking the Writing STAAR test on Tuesday, April 9th, and our 3rd and 4th graders will be taking the STAAR Math test on Monday May 13th and the STAAR Reading test on Tuesday, May 14th. On these dates, we are asking all parents to help us by having your child keep all electronics, including cell phones, fitbits, or apple watches, at home. Please also refrain from scheduling doctor or dentist appointments on these dates. Thank you in advance for your help and support.

Campout Silent Auction
Can you believe that Spring is finally here and we are only 10 days away from our 2nd annual late night leopards campout? We are excited to announce that we are having a Silent online Auction this year that starts on Tuesday, 4/2/19 at 8am and ends on Sunday, 4/7/19. We have reached our $30,000 mark, therefore all proceeds from the auction will go directly back to Lovejoy Elementary School so please share this link with your friends and family. NEW! Pop Up Camp Store During Lunch
The Campout will have a Pop Up Camp Store
TODAY, during each lunch time. Your child can view all of the items as well as purchase items for the campout. If your child is interested in purchasing an item(s), please send cash with them tomorrow, or come have lunch with your child and you can pay using the Square. The Pop Up Camp Store will also be set up next week on

Lovejoy Summer Musical Theatre Camps: July 9-20
We are excited to announce our 2019 musical: Seussical KIDS!
Acting, choreography, lighting, costuming, set building, and painting are just some of the fun activities taking place in Lovejoy's Summer Musical Theatre Camps: Musical Theatre, Technical Theatre, and Intern Camp.
Students will work together to produce and perform Seussical KIDS. Students who attend will develop confidence, sharpen their musical and theatrical skills, and create wonderful memories along the way. Directed by Jessica Brewster, LHS Head Theatre Director, and musically directed by Anne Tracy, LHS Puster Elementary Music Specialist, this show is sure to be an unforgettable experience.
