"It's a beautiful thing when a career and a passion come together!" - Tammy Winkelman

This month we are very pleased to welcome Tammy Winkelman, LMT, RN to our family of complementary practitioners. She has a rich background in healthcare as a Registered Nurse, but her passion is Massage Therapy. Tammy began her interest in bodywork as a nurse case manager in hospice and in-home- care settings; this led her to pursue training as a licensed massage therapist. She loves what she does and always speaks of her profession with enthusiasm and warmth.Prior to joining Ommani her previous clinical massage experience was in a chiropractic office and spa treating acute and chronic conditions. Tammy is also trained as a Reiki II practitioner and uses (when a client is interested) Reiki techniques as the perfect complement to her massage practice. She is dedicated and committed to her client's health and wellbeing. She views a client's massage care as part of their journey to health. She specializes in offering individualized massage sessions to fit each client's unique needs. Your initial session with Tammy will include a review of your health status and a discussion of goals you hope to attain with massage therapy. She knows sometimes that goal will simply be to spend an hour de-stressing under the skilled hands of a relaxing massage. Tammy uses many modalities to meet her clients' needs, including Swedish, cupping, trigger point, neuromuscular, deep tissue, Reiki, hot towels, hot stones, and essential oils.

She holds a license through the State of Wisconsin for Massage Therapy, and is certified by the
Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals.

Don't delay in scheduling your massage with Tammy. Call our office at 262.695.5311 to do so. She has office hours on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and some Saturdays.

The Language of Symptoms

David Johnson, Certified Classical Homeopath

Do you think of symptoms as "bad" and their disappearance as "good?"  Medical research in the 1970s-1980s has demonstrated uncomfortable symptoms aren't bad, but are our body's attempt to restore balance.
