Weekend Lineup
Schulenburg Sausagefest!

Rainy day. Sunny day. Any day is a good day to celebrate sausage. That's what the good folks in Schulenburg plan to do on Saturday at the 6th Annual Sausagefest. Slight adjustment - Sausagefest has been moved from downtown to Wolters Park due to threat of bad weather! You'll still be able to experience the only festival in Texas featuring sausage-making contests, plus contests to find the best homemade wine, pickles, and sauerkraut. And if you have a real talent for hog calling, then sign up for that competition. There won't be a parade, but everything else will go as planned with Schulenburg High School Band playing at 11:30A, Opening Ceremony at 11:45A, and Grand March at noon. The music lineup is stellar, y'all!  The Moravians, 12-2P; The Czechaholics, 2:20-4:30P; Mark Halata & Texavia, 5-7P; and Bill Pekar & The Rainey Brothers, 7:30-10P. Watch for updates on the fest Facebook page and call 979-743-4514 if you have any other questions!

WEEKLY LAUGH
I was doing an overnight at a hotel away from home. I took my computer down to the bar to do some data entries. I sat down at the bar, and I asked the bartender, "What's the wi-fi password?"

Bartender: "You need to buy a drink first."

Me: "Okay, I'll have a beer."

Bartender: "We have Corona on tap."

Me: "Sure. How much is that?"

Bartender: "Eight dollars."

Me: "Here you are. OK now, what's the wi-fi password?"

Bartender: "youneedtobuyadrinkfirst; no spaces and all lowercase."
