Parent Contact Update
-August 2019-

Each month, Parent Contacts receive these updates.
Please feel free to share the information in them with your service coordinator and other families you may know receiving  EI services!
Did you know...

all of our past Parent Contact Updates are archived on the EIPLP website? They are full of great information for families in EI, especially those who may want to get involved on a level beyond their individual services. These opportunities and resources can be accessed here, or by visiting eiplp.org/parent-contact-updates/
Did you know...

it's not too late to complete the July Parent Contact Survey? This quick survey gives us great information on how we reach Parent Contacts and share information. You can access the survey here.
Did you know...

the "Finding Your Footing" series is off to a terrific start? This learning opportunity for families kicked off with two days of workshops covering lots of topics like the CliftonStrengths Finder,
Identifying Resources, Telling Your Story, Communication Strategies, Team Building and Self Care. This weekend format will be with Saturday sessions covering additional topics for families. September's session (in honor of Emergency Preparedness Month) will be Emergency Preparedness and Care Mapping.

Keep an eye out in 2020 for us to re-run this opportunity, you won't want to miss it!

We love that you are here!

Parent Contacts are an important part of the Massachusetts Early Intervention System. Parent Contacts are parents and guardians of children currently receiving EI services who volunteer to receive information from the EIPLP and share it with other families. If your child is no longer receiving services, or you no longer wish to be the Parent Contact for your EI program, please let us know by calling
1-877-353-4757 or emailing [email protected] so that we can identify another family from your program.
