New! Notes from the Nurse- Medication:
If your child is going to take medication at school during the 2019-2020 school year, you will need to complete a new medication sheet and bring a SMALL or travel size bottle of over the counter medicine or the original prescription bottle, that is not expired. New! School Supplies
Compiling a list of common items needed for Lovejoy High School is a bit difficult considering the diversity of classes that a typical student can take. Knowing that many of you may want to shop for school supplies before you receive the complete list from teachers on the 1st day of school, we invite you to click SUPPLIES to consult a spreadsheet that details what items are needed for each department. Please note that there are 5 tabs, one for each of the core subjects: English, Math, Science, Social Studies, and LOTE.
While you are shopping for your school supplies, if you feel so inclined, we would welcome some contributions to a general supply of kleenex and hand sanitizer that can be shared campus-wide. We will place a collection box in the LHS Commons, and we appreciate your generosity.
New! Bus Information
The 2019-2020

Parents of Rising Seniors (Class of 2020):
Lovejoy ISD is a non-ranking district with the exception of the required Top 10%. Student transcripts are reported without rank, unless the student requests to have rank reported. Once a student submits a request to report rank, the decision is considered final unless the student requests a review of their request for an exception to change their ranking status, and all subsequent transcripts will be printed displaying rank.
To request to report rank, please return this form to Mrs. Shaw-Cabrera before September 6, 2019 of the senior year. If we do not receive the release form below, class rank will NOT be reported on the transcript per Board Policy EIC (Local). Texas law requires top 10% designation be reported on the transcript.
All parents need to sign the Transcript Consent Form so that transcripts can be sent to colleges and
universities. The forms are available on Naviance or in the counseling office.
