Get more information about the   Annual IDRA La Semana del Niño Parent Institute along with the full agenda and presenters' PowerPoints throughout the day. Interviews will feature participants as well as presenters from among the 12 sessions not in the livestream. All presentations will be bilingual (English-Spanish).

Erika Prosper Nirenberg will deliver our opening keynote. She is director of customer insights for H-E-B, and 2018 chairwoman of the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Proof of Strong Parent Leadership at ARISE - Education CAFE  - An IDRA Education CAFE (Community Action Forum for Excellence) is a parent group that is rooted in the community. Its sole purpose is to collaborate with schools to improve the success of students in the community. After years of success in the Texas Rio Grande Valley, Education CAFEs have been launched in San Antonio, Houston and El Paso. Hear families describe the activities and challenges involved in establishing a strong community group that models family leadership in education.
