Historic Alameda High School Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

We are excited to announce that the ribbon cutting ceremony for Historic Alameda High School will be on August 8 at 4 pm. Please join us for speakers, tours, refreshments, and entertainment! You can find more information in today's press release and our FAQ about the project.

Data Confirmation is Now Open!

Our annual Data Confirmation, formerly known as "Back to School Registration," is now available in the Aeries Family Portal. Please complete the process (it only takes a few minutes!) prior to the start of the 2019-2020 school year to make sure we have up-to-date information for your student and family (including contact information, medical records, and various releases).

New families will receive an email with information on how to get started.

Free and Reduced Price Meal Applications Available

The 2019-20 application for Free and Reduced Meals (FRPM) is now available online! Benefits of the FRPM program include affordable, healthy school meals as well as reduced fees for the PSAT, SAT, ACT, and AP exams and free college applications. You can sign up quickly and confidentially via myschoolapps or AUSD's Food & Nutrition Services webpage.

Please note: A new application must be filled out each school year.

Back to School Nights start August 22. This is an excellent opportunity to meet your students' teachers, learn about their classes, and hear from your principal! Please see our Back to School Night schedule to find out when your site's event will be held.

The Board of Education is still accepting applications for district representatives to the boards of two local charter organizations: Academy of Alameda and Community Learning Centers Schools (the organization that oversees ACLC and Nea). More information and the application are available in our community bulletin about the board positions.
