Same-day genetic counselling
Newly diagnosed breast cancer patients get timely care

The BMO Breast Diagnostic Clinic has been providing same-day genetic counselling appointments for newly diagnosed patients.
For the past year, our Breast Diagnostic Clinic has been providing same-day genetic counselling appointments for newly diagnosed patients, first as part of a pilot and now as a routine practice.
In most centres, patients who are referred for genetic counselling book a separate appointment for a later date.
