Yes on Prop 68 to Keep Tahoe Blue
Lake Tahoe is a national treasure, but it faces many environmental threats. Now, the changing climate is adding additional stress.

This June, Californians will have a chance to vote on Prop 68—a $4 billion investment in the coming years to protect California’s unique natural resources, including Lake Tahoe, and ensure they are protected from the growing threat of climate change.

Even if you don't live in California, you can help spread the word.

Protecting Tahoe’s shoreline:
make your voice heard
Lake Tahoe’s shoreline is unique. Its beaches, cliffs, forests and rock outcrops are where most of Tahoe’s millions of annual visitors experience the Lake.

Starting May 8, Tahoe officials will begin accepting public comment on the proposed Shoreline Plan. It is critical that they hear from you.

The proposed plan is intended to provide key guidance around the future construction of structures for boating access—such as boat ramps, piers, buoys, marinas, boat lifts, boat houses and slips—as well as policies related to non-motorized boating on Lake Tahoe and the management of aquatic invasive species.  Learn more about League's advocacy and how you can weigh in starting May 8.
