Happy 10th Anniversary Adams & Associates, PLC
We are proud and pleased to announce that Adams & Associates, PLC is celebrating its Ten-Year Anniversary this month! We are so very grateful for your referrals, your business, your support, and friendship for the last decade. Yes, a decade! As I reflect on where we have been, I think about all of the people we have met, and how much we have learned from all of them. I think about my mentors, and my heroes. I laugh about the many mistakes we have made, and the obstacles we have overcome. Name a mistake that one might make in starting a business, and we have made it. For example, the first year of my practice, I thought I could do my own bookkeeping and accounting. Bad Idea.
I smile thinking about all of our wonderful clients, and the places they were, and the strides they have made. I am grateful to many, who without their contribution, we never would be here: Mom, Johnny, Gene, Mali, Louise, Mali, Melissa, Sioux, Tori, Chris, and our newest wonderful staff members, Kathy and Leeza. Thank you, my Maddie, for putting up with Mom working so many long hours. We are so very excited to welcome John Felix as a new lawyer to our team, my dear friend for the last 30 years. John practices in the areas of Real Estate, Liquor Licensing, and Entertainment Law.
As we move into the next decade, we will strive to continue to provide excellence, one client at a time. We will continue to add information on our website so that we can help those who cannot afford private counsel and are not getting the information they otherwise need. We continue to add crime summaries, sample plea agreements, sentencing ranges, and other information that will help defendants learn what to expect during their case. This project is ever evolving, and something that is very important to all of us at Adams & Associates.
I am the most excited to have started a new business with my little sister, Hilary Allen, who is also a trial lawyer, and just happens to be a SUPA STAR. Watch for our new blog and Podcast called,
“Girls Just Wanna Do Trials.” Our Mission is to inspire other women to get into the courtroom, and to be confident when they get there. So what if the jury cares more about your shoes than what you are saying?? You’ve got this girl! We hope to inspire companies across the globe to hire women as
lead trial counsel, no matter how complex the case. We are excited to share our many funny stories about balancing being a mom and a trial lawyer, the craziness we have encountered from colleagues, judges, and occasionally clients, and the happiness we have found in our work in spite of all of that. We might even add in some trial fashion tips and recipes (OK, so those are not coming from me.)
My heart is full. Thank you, all.
Ashley
