The City of Buda will be participating in the “Don’t Mess with Texas Trash-Off” this year! Gather your family, team, or come as an individual and get ready to help clean up Buda on Saturday, April 6, 2019! Rain is expected on Saturday. We will let you know if anything changes with this event.
The City of Buda’s Fiscal Year 2017-18 annual audit of the City’s financial reports has been completed by the City’s external audit firm Whitley Penn, LLP. We are pleased to announce that the City has received an unmodified or ‘clean’ audit.
Tickets are now available for the Main Street Sip & Stroll to be held in Historic Downtown Buda on Friday, May 10, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. 350 tickets will be available for this exciting evening! Tickets are $30 each. This event is 21+ only.
Did you know that April is World Autism Month? In 2018 the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention determined that approximately 1 in 59 children is diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder. City Council proclaimed April as Autism Month at their April 2 meeting.

Spring Fling at the Buda Public Library
Spring is almost here! While you are making plans for spring planting and spring activities, make sure to mark your calendar for April 13 from 2:00-4:00 pm for our Spring Fling event! Spring Fling will be held at the new Buda Public Library outside on the lawn!
Guess what's just around the corner? Get ready for this year's Annual Easter Egg. We'll have bounce houses, trackless trains, and of course an Easter Egg Hunt. It takes place at Buda Sportsplex from 9 AM TO NOON on Saturday, April 13. The Easter Egg hunt begins at 10:30 AM.
