Islamic Weekend School Counseling Session in the Mirror Hall For Senior Boys and Girls
Sunday, April 7, 2019 @ 11:45 A.M.
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi Raji'oon.
إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون

Our ICGC Islamic Weekend school family is grieving after learning that one of our senior boys, Mamoudou Sylla, has passed away.

Mamoudou was a great friend with a big heart. Our thoughts and Prayers go out to his mother Djeinaba Ba, to his father Thiemo Ousmane Sylla, and to the whole family members.

Mamoudou has a brother who is also a student in our school, Mamadou Sylla. He is in Junior 3 boy’s class.

We know that everyone in our community extends all of our love, support and prayers to the family during this very difficult time.

This Sunday inshaa Allah, we will hold a counseling session in the Mirror Hall at 11:45 for senior boys and girls . Students from junior classes who are willing to stay after school hours to show their support for Mamodou’s brother are definitely welcome.

We will have Dr. Gihan Abdelrazek, a psychiatrist and Michelle khan, a Clinical psychologist, to speak with the team and the students and ready to answer their questions.

Br. Ashraf Trabulsi who has been teaching senior boys for years and Imam Musa are going to be there too for spiritual support inshaa Allah.

Mamoudou will be remembered and greatly missed, if you have any concerns about your child’s reaction to this loss, please contact the school administration.
