GEPL Book Discussion Toolkit
Ignite a Discussion at Your Next Book Club
When you put in your book club's request for a new book, be sure to check the button requesting a GEPL Book Discussion Toolkit at the end of the form. Each toolkit contains biographical materials on the author, reviews and criticisms of the book, and questions designed to help you spark a lively discussion. Staff need at least a week's notice to put together the toolkit.
The challenge is for adults to read 4,000 books and kids to read for 70,000 hours. If the goals are met, the Friends of the Library and the Library Foundation will each donate funds to SCARCE, an award-winning nonprofit that provides environmental education through hands-on programs to schools, organizations, and the community. If you haven't done so already, you can still sign up and participate in
GEPL Reads for SCARCE.
