CBFNC Webinar Series
Sustainable Community Development and Partnerships in Rural Communities
Tuesday, June 26, 2018
11-11:45am  FREE webinar with Kenny Sherin
Kenny and Karen Sherin, CBF "missionaries," live in Dimock, South Dakota, and work in rural community and economic development both on and off the Native American reservations. Poverty rates in SD are some of the highest in the U.S., with a majority being on the reservations. The problems of poverty are further exacerbated because of isolation and lack of support and awareness. Hear about their work and learn helpful tools to help your church listen, engage, and resource your community in healthy ways. We will also discuss ways to engage in healthy, long-term partnerships with people in impoverished communities.  Register here .

We are setting up a schedule for more webinars in 2018. Contact Sarah Mitchell with webinar topic ideas or if you would like to be a webinar speaker. Find our webinar archives here.

Personnel Requests
Frequently CBFNC receives requests from churches about placing an ad for filling church positions or staff. While we do not have a place for these ads in our newsletter, The Gathering, we are willing to publish positions on our Ministry Job Board. We also offer a Reference and Referral service with our Ministerial Transitions Coordinators for staff positions. Please visit our website to learn more about staff placement through CBFNC.
