Summer Giving

Summer brings a lot of things but often it means a drop in attendance due to vacations Summer Pledge - Don't Forget and summer distractions. I t is during the summer that our giving tends to dips.  Our ministries here at Point Pleasant Presbyterian Church continue during the summer months - worship on Sunday continues, the office remains staffed and ready to help, various groups continue to meet, and we even have a Vacation Bible School in August. Our financial team does a great job preparing for this summer decline but our summer bills never take a vacation.  We very much need your continued financial support in the summer months.

If you are away over the summer you can take advantage of several ways to easily give.
1.  Donations can be mailed or dropped off directly to the church.
2.  You can use your bank's online bill pay system which can automatically make a payment on a date you desire.
3.  Our website online allows you to use a debit/credit card to schedule a payment.

Our electronic giving services is powered by the Presbyterian Foundation.  When you make a payment through our website you are not only contributing towards our mission but also to the global Presbyterian mission.  All ways are s imple, safe and secure and include no setup or maintenance fees.

Remember that.....

Giving allows you to be obedient to God

Giving helps you grow in your faith

Giving supports the ministries of PPPC

Giving allows you to be a part of God's story locally and around the world

Giving allows the Holy Spirit to transform you into an open-handed and generous person

Your faithful giving is always appreciated and used wisely.

AMPED VBS will help children understand why God wants each of us to be FILLED with CONFIDENCE. He wants us to LIVE FULLY ALIVE, because we can believe that what He says is TRUE!

Each day we will worship, experience a new Bible story, watch a video, create a craft, enjoy snack, learn new songs with exciting dance moves, and play a game. Thursday night will be family night.

For our Mission Project, we will supply special items for backpacks (i.e. pajamas, pillow pets, pillow buddy, stuffed animal, blanket, child's book) to be given to temporarily homeless children who participate with their families in our Interfaith Hospitality Network throughout the year.

AMPED VBS
