Super Saturday Recap & What You'll See on Sunday
Massive crowds kicked off a killer weekend at the Subaru Sea Otter Classic with a schedule packed with races from the kids to the pros. The early morning hours brought a layer of fog and over 1200 Velofix Gran Fondo riders to the rolling hills and coastal roads around Monterey County. The Gravel Grinder and Focus MTB Tour riders rolled out shortly thereafter to traverse the scenic trails and roads of the Fort Ord National Monument.

Afternoon crowds lined up to cheer on racers in one of Sea Otter's most popular events - the dual slalom - which was as exciting as ever. Earlier in the day, fans came out in droves to see the formal wear-clad racers of the Bompton World Championship USA.

The expo was hopping with food and drinks flowing in the food court, Sierra Nevada beer garden and also at exhibitor booths. The Subaru booth jammed to hits by The Cave Singers while Klean Kanteen and Thule served up some good food and drinks to the crowd. Afterwards, the CLIF/IMBA happy hour was the place to be for those who had spent the day racing or enjoying the vibe in the expo.

Swing into Sunday with the pros hitting the downhill course in the morning hours and amateurs racing in road, circuit, dual slalom and downhill. There's tons of activities going on in the Kids Ride Zone - the Buddy Pegs Scavenger Hunt and number plate decorating at booth 915, everyone's favorite egg hunt at 10 a.m., and kids' races at 11 a.m.
