Aurora Ohio Strong

We are still trying to keep track of all of the Aurora businesses that are currently open, but as you all know - things change daily. Therefore, when in doubt call the business to verify whether or not they are open and if they are, what are their hours right now. Also, some restaurants are offering discounts on carry out orders, some retail locations are offering curbside pickup. Be sure to ask them if they are as well!

The Aurora Chamber of Commerce office is still closed, but we are working remotely and replying to emails and phone messages as they come in. Please visit our website, www.allaboutaurora.com for up to date information. Lastly, below are two Facebook pages that are also informative and being updated regularly:

Just remember that we will get through this, and we will all be better and stronger!

Stay safe & stay healthy friends!!

Community Events & Member News
At Family and Community Services Inc, we continue to monitor the development and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our goal is to continue to keep the community up-to-date on program updates and changes without overwhelming you with too much superfluous information. F&CS provides services such as food, shelter, transportation, and counseling services. These are all very important services that cannot be ignored. We are here for our community. Thank you and Go Forth Do Good.
BLOOD DRIVE
DATE: Friday, April 24th, 2020 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

The Aurora Inn is privileged to be able to provide a private space to The Red Cross for an emergency blood drive. In times of uncertainty, they often see a decrease in the number of regular donors. Pair this with limited facilities that can offer space right now, and you can understand why it’s so important for us to answer the call to help our community when we can. In the past week, 4,500 drives have been canceled due to the Coronavirus resulting in 150,000 few donations being made.

Your safety and well-being are important to us. During the blood drive, you’ll access the Garfield Ballroom through a private entrance on Garfield Road (State Route 82) used only for donors and associates of The Red Cross. Ample parking is provided at this entrance.
