There's Something for Everyone in Sequim
Play Pickleball at Carrie Blake Park!

Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in the country and it's great fun for kids and adults.  The City of Sequim and the Sequim Picklers cut the ribbon on eight tournament quality Pickleball courts last year at Carrie Blake Park.  The courts are reserved for members most mornings, but are open to the public most afternoons.  Visit the Sequim Picklers'  website to see the court schedule and learn more about the sport.

Enter the BirdFest- BirdQuest

Sequim is all about the birds in the month of April.  Kids are invited to take part in the BirdFest-BirdQuest, April 1 - 14,and go in search of the ceramic bird sculptures, created by local high school students, located in businesses throughout the City.  You can pick up a game card at the Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce or any participating business.  Get your card marked as you find the birds and enter to win prizes. From April 15 - 27, the ceramic birds will be on exhibit at the Dungeness River Audubon Center at Railroad Bridge Park.  The River Center and Park are worth a stop anytime of year to see the wildlife displays and the historic Railroad Bridge train trestle.  Free bird walks are offered every Wednesday morning at 8:30 a.m.
