The Trust announces a special workshop for Trust-funded 6-12 youth development providers that will guide you in the interpretation of your program self-assessment and CAT observation data, offered on the three separate dates listed below. One representative from each provider agency
MUST be present at one of the sessions; however, we strongly encourage that every relevant provider attend as a team of a program manager and up to four direct staff.

Change the Life of a Child in Foster Care
Florida Foster Care Review, which advances the safety, stability and success of abused and neglected children, youth and young adults by connecting them to essential services, healthy relationships and forever families, seeks caring citizens from the community to volunteer one weekday a month for a minimum of one year to serve on its Citizen Review Panel (CRP); volunteers must be at least 25 years old. The CRP reviews active, judge-referred child welfare court cases at the Children's Courthouse, and your participation as a CRP member means that you can directly and positively impact the life of a child or youth in foster care. This three-day training,
offered in English and Spanish, will focus on understanding the philosophy of nurturing parenting; assessing high-risk parenting beliefs and environments; creating competency-based parenting lessons and programs tailored to meet the individual parenting needs of families; and implementing programs at the primary, secondary and tertiary levels of prevention.
