Waiver Services  
Coordinators of Community Services continue to meet with people and their families who are candidates for waiver enrollment. As of July 26, 2018, 961 people have been approved for waiver enrollment from 1,571 current waiver packets that have been completed.  
Employment
Do you need help understanding the new waivers, new service definitions, th e phase out of Section 14(c) of the Fair Labor Standards Act , hourly billing, organizational transformation, site compliance, and the new vision for service delivery?

Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS)
Release 1.0

On Wednesday, August 1 the first release of DDA functionality in LTSS will go live. Countless hours have been dedicated to this process, and the DDA is excited to announce this major milestone! Thank you to all the Coordination of Community Services (CCS) agencies, DDA staff, and our partners for their support and leadership in this process.

The following timeline provides guidance on how person-centered planning (PCP) and service authorization will expand the functionality available in LTSS over the next year:
  • Throughout the next 11 months, all people receiving DDA services will have a complete PCP completed by CCSs in LTSS.
  • Service authorization will continue in PCIS2 along with the Service Funding Plan (SFP)/Modified SFP Request (MSFPR) process until July 1, 2019.
  • Starting January 2019, CCSs will need to update all PCPs to include detailed service authorization for dates of service on or after July 1, 2019.
DDA Policy Development
The DDA is in the process of developing new policies, procedures, and guidance to support our new services and programs. The information will be developed by and with subject matter experts.

The policies will be uploaded into Policy Stat, which is a management software that the DDA will be using to organize policies, procedures, and other important documentation. PolicyStat is a web-based tool, providing on-demand access to policies, procedures, and guidance from any device that uses an Internet connection.

In the fall of 2018 policies will being being publicly available to stakeholders.
