Dear Parents and Families,

Summer is winding down and many of you are preparing to help your children get ready for the next school year. Family support is one of the greatest gifts that you can give a child to help them do well in school.

Here are some events and activities that you and your family may want to sign up for or learn more about as you continue to be your child's best advocate. Read more about area opportunities in this issue.

Summer Cyberbulling Prevention
Children and adolescents may have more time to spend on their devices over the summer, and may rely on them more to stay in touch with friends. Cyberbullying happens year round. To prevent cyberbullying, parents and caregivers can learn the warning signs of cyberbullying and how to respond, and get familiar with the social media apps and sites that kids use frequently.
