BayAreaLifeABC 7's Bay Area Life Highlights Tuolumne County

We're excited to announce that Tuolumne County was the focus of a half-hour long episode of Bay Area Life on San Francisco's ABC 7 that aired on Saturday April 28th. This long-established program highlighted some our great attractions and activities.

Visit our "For Our Members" page to watch the segments of the show.
Media Visits are on the Rise

MediaThe TCVB actively pursues media visits from key journalists from around the world. We also have a process for vetting these journalists to ensure they are professional and relevant to our County and will give us coverage. We've seen a huge increase in traveling media visits, with about 5 trips already completed and approximately 10 more trips scheduled through summer.  We truly appreciate all that our partners have done for us to assist in hosting media. If you would like to be a part of these media trips email Katie, [email protected]. Partners can participate by offering items for media guests' gift bags, complimentary or discounted items such as: food, tours, rental equipment, services, or rooms.

Meetings Update
  • The Connect California Event in March helped to launch Tuolumne County as a meeting destination. Katie met with 27 meeting planners. Many were impressed by what Tuolumne County has to offer as far as meeting space inventory and recreation.
  • The All Things Meetings Event in April introduced Tuolumne County as a meeting destination to a key target area, San Francisco. Katie was a guest of Black Oak Casino Resort at the event and had the opportunity to talk with about 20 meeting planners. Many were intrigued by the short travel distance from the Bay Area.
