League Link is an electronic communications service from the Indiana Credit Union League and is sent regularly to Managers/CEOs of affiliated credit unions. It contains a variety of information on activities at the League and a summary of important messages that have been sent by the League. Many of the items here contain links to the League's website. Credit Union Trends Report

CUNA Mutual Group provides a Credit Union Trends Report each month containing the latest information on the state of credit union lending, membership and assets.

 
Highlights of the report include:
 
  • Credit union loan balances rose 0.7% in January, better than the 0.6% pace reported in January 2017, and 10.9% during the last 12 months.
  • Year-over-year, the number of credit unions declined by 248, more than the 224 lost in the 12 months ending in January 2017.
  • Credit union first mortgage originations slowed to $141.5 billion in 2017, a 2.4% decrease under the record $145 billion in originations in 2016.
