KMA Presents to University of Kentucky Psychiatry Residents

KMA spoke to psychiatry and pediatric residents at the University of Kentucky recently offering a series of learning events focused on the basics of personal finance, health care policy and additional considerations outside of the clinical setting. The presentations are designed to equip residents with knowledge of practical issues not frequently covered in classroom discussions or on-the-job training.

The sessions received very positive feedback from participants. “[KMA] provided lectures for my graduating resident class that were useful on a variety of matters related to our transition to career,” said one attendee.

KMA is working to expand the residency presentations to other interested programs across the state. If you work with a residency program and have an interest in any of the three presentations, contact KMA Executive Vice President Patrick Padgett at padgett@kyma.org .
