Upcoming Television Application Window - May 21 to 25, 2018

ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR RECURRING TV SERIES ONLY
The California Film and Television Program 2.0 consistently tracks recurring television series in the program so as to be able to forecast and provide a reservation of tax credits for subsequent seasons.

In reviewing the demand for tax credits in the upcoming May television allocation period, as well as the demand for the entire fiscal year, the CFC has determined that only recurring TV series may apply. Unfortunately we will not be accepting applications for new TV projects or Relocating TV series.

The CFC had initially announced that Relocating TV series could apply, but in assessing the needs of recurring series, it has been determined that all Relocating TV credits will be needed to fill the demand for TV series which will be requesting additional credits in May and November.

If the program is able to accept new television and/or relocating TV series in November due to series cancellations, a notification will be issued and posted on the CFC website.
