Salmon Bay School Event: Interrupting Privilege - Thurs, April 4 6:00-8:00 pm
This workshop asks participants to reflect deeply on their own positions of privilege - and lack thereof - as well as how one group’s privilege shores up another group’s inequality. We connect data about structural inequities to the everyday realities of our own lives. Taught by Ralina Joseph who is the founding director of the Center for Communication, Difference, and Equity (CCDE) at the University of Washington.

Thank Yous!
If you loved this year's STEM Fair...
...please give Femeke Cabernard a Wildcat high-five! She worked tirelessly behind the scenes to organize our STEM speakers, help teachers get in-class support for their projects, devise and assemble the fun family activities, find creative prizes, and coordinate all of the logistics for the event itself - phew!! Massive kudos to Femeke for a fantastic, educational, and fun-filled evening!
