Looking for books or movies about adoption? Or how to deal with school-related adoption issues?
Challenges for prospective adoptive parents continue as the Trump administration allows for blatant discrimination against those of different religions or those who identify as LGBTQ. But some states are stepping forward. Michigan passed a law to ensure that any adoption agency that takes money from the state cannot discriminate. COCAF applauds this action and hopes that all states take the steps necessary to ensure all qualified prospective parents, no matter what their religion, gender, or sexual orientation, are allowed to adopt.
Wishing you peace, love, and no calamities in 2019,
Colleen Tarket,
