On March 11, the National Commission on Recognition of Dental Specialties and Certifying boards adopted a resolution to recognize dental anesthesiology as the 10th dental specialty.

SDF Rule to be Reopened
The Colorado Dental Board meets Thursday, March 28, and is expected to vote to reopen rules governing the application of silver diamine fluoride (SDF) by dental hygienists to clarify the current interpretation. Following the meeting, the Board will hold several stakeholder meetings to receive input from the public. CDA staff will inform membership of the stakeholder meeting dates as they are announced.
