Many wonderful people have supported The Arc over the years. This month, we spotlight three: Charlie Huber and Kathy and Bob Moody. They all have given their time, talent and treasure to The Arc to further our mission in Fort Bend County.
Charlie is currently serving as Chairman of the Board - as he did in 2005 & 2006 and in 1995 & 1996. Kathy Moody served as Chairman of the Board in 1982 & 1985. She was an active and leading member for many years.
Through her husband, Bob Moody, Kathy's legacy to The Arc lives on via the Kathy Moody Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship wa
s created for students with an intellectual and/or developmental disability who need financial assistance to attend a post-secondary educational or vocational program.
Since the scholarship's inception, we have awarded six scholarships. On April 23, The Arc will award two more scholarships to students attending the HCC VAST program. Join us and help celebrate their accomplishments!
