Commodity Updates

BRUSSELS SPROUTS

The market is trending higher as a result of heat in Mexican growing regions. Supplies are also limited as we wait for the start of the Salinas Valley in California.

  BERRIES

Blackberries & Raspberries - Light availability, high prices.
Blueberries - Coming out of North Carolina. There was a recent setback from the rain, but production will bounce back. New Jersey starts later this month.
Strawberries - Plentiful; excellent quality.

ORANGES

California Navels have finished, the Valencia harvest has begun.

ALERT! TOMATOES

Central Florida has finished their crops for the season. Northern Florida is starting in a light way. However, it will still be a week or so before the harvest brings forth
enough volume to strengthen the supply chain.
