UUFF CARES
Aaron D. Parrish, son of Rev. Jim and Theresa, suffered heart failure and passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 14. Rev. Jim has been in Las Vegas helping Aaron's wife and family make arrangements. A memorial service is planned for Sunday, August 5th, 2pm, at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Rockford, Illinois. At the time of this writing, Rev. Jim's schedule is up in the air. You are welcome to contact Theresa at tkparrish56@gmail.com Please keep the Parrish Family in your thoughts and hearts as they go through this very difficult time.

Nancy McCartney is moving to DC this week (plan is for 7/20) to an assisted living community near her son, where she can continue her recovery and rehabilitation and have access to some great medical care. Until then, she is in room 503 at Katherine’s Place (4405 W Persimmon St, Fayetteville, AR 72704). Nancy is loved such that she has been downright overwhelmed with visits from well-wishers, so if you wish to visit, please check with nursing staff first to make sure she is available and up for it. Cards can also be dropped off for her there. UUFF certainly won’t be the same without Nancy, who has been a Member since September 25, 1979 ! We wish her safe travels, healing, and happiness.
