Your ASA president says ...
We currently are in very trying and unprecedented times. Here at the ASA, as the President, I along with many others are asking, "Please!! Follow the rules laid out before you. "
Covid-19 is here and seems to be staying for sometime.
Even though construction currently falls into the “essential service” category, things can easily change. We have seen New York and now possibly the Bay Area ceasing construction. ASA along with many of our other Business Associations and trade partners have been active in communications with our City Leaders to keep construction operating. We will need to follow the “Social Distancing” rules and common-sense hand washing, cleaning protocols, and “stay home if your sick!” plans.
I am now working from home with as little interaction as possible, as I am sure most of you are as well. If we can show we are doing our best to keep up with the changing environment around us we can hopefully continue to work as productively as possible.
I wish I had some stellar words of wisdom or inspiration to offer, but sadly I think this will get worse before it gets better. But if we all stand together as we always do and do our best “this too shall pass.”
Please be safe, protect yourselves, your loved ones and all those you “come in contact with”, as they were one of yours, and we will get past this.
Thank you,
John Luft
