is going to be released here on Tuesday, April 9, 2019! This is the latest version of Matrix that unifies MLS listing data and Realist® property data. The result is a truly property-centric listing platform that gives you a 360-degree view of properties in our market.

- Sign up for a webinar to learn how to get around in Matrix360. We will record and publish this one if you can’t make it that day but want to view it. The webinar will be on April 9 at 1pm. Register now!
- Learn one system, not two. It’s easy to use and familiar. Work with public records just like Matrix listings. Create searches, get results, view details, print and email reports for both listing and public records, all in one place, all in the same way.

Note
– for now, some members will still need to access Realist if they use any of the other tabs on a Realist Property Report such as the Assessor Maps or Neighborhood data. We hope to eventually see those features in Matrx360 as well but have not been given a timeline on that.

Listing Data Checker News
|

Members have been very pleased to learn about the new Listing Data Checker tool. We have had many positive comments at the Agents Fair, recent meetings attended by members and via email. Our staff has been configuring and testing the tool since it went live on March 11 and will continue to fine tune things until we officially start using it on April 1.
Beginning that day, please expect to hear from us more regularly via that tool. It will be randomly requesting that members submit a copy of the listing contract in addition to requesting one at other times when a question arises. This will help us monitor the listing contract content vs. what is in the MLS including the listing contract date vs. the date it was entered into the MLS. The rule is that listings must be entered into the MLS within twenty-four (24) hours (excepting weekends, holidays, and postal holidays), after all the necessary signatures of seller(s) have been obtained.

March 26 is ShowingTime Drop in Day
|

ShowingTime Drop in Day at GRAR
is on March 26 from 1:00 p.m - 3:00 p.m.
Drop in and meet with GRAR Tech Committee volunteers and GRAR Staff to get your questions answered or to learn more.
During the first hour we will have general discussion, Q&A, and help getting the app added to your device(s) for any that need help with that.
At 2pm, we will have a panel discussion for 20 - 30 minutes
including 4 or 5 agents talking about how they use ShowingTime for their business and then wrap up with any loose ends at 2:30pm. Come and see how your fellow agents are using this tool successfully to save time!

We now have two more counties to choose from when searching public records in Realist and Matrix360 and or adding a listing in Matrix. The new counties are Fulton and Otsego.

It’s been a few years since the Tech Committee updated our list of favorite apps. Please see our current list of favorites including some that are part of your MLS membership and others that are mostly free from the App and Play stores.

Tech Support
2 options through May 31
|

GRAR members have had free support for hardware, non-GRAR software (such as Word, etc.), connectivity, and other technology issues through the TechHelpline for a number of years. NYSAR recently began a similar service called the Tech Hotline. GRAR members currently have both services available to them through May 31. At that time, the TechHelpline will be phased out and the NYSAR Tech Hotline will be the go-to for all of these types of issues.

In this new course, you will get hands-on practice with all sides of a transaction using TransactionDesk.
There will be one hour of on-site instruction, then you will remotely practice using TransactionDesk.
