City of Laguna Beach Community Services

More than just recreation
Show us your #ActiveLaguna lifestyle
We want to help you live an #ActiveLaguna lifestyle! The City of Laguna Beach has beaches and parks with something for everyone: playgrounds, soccer fields, tennis and basketball courts, fitness equipment, access to hiking and biking trails, even picnic areas!
Tag us on Instagram ( @lagunabeachgov ) in your photos of our parks or beaches and use #ActiveLaguna in your caption - then show the post to one of our front desk staff at the Community Center to win a summer survival kit!
The contest will run from June 25 - August 1.

Registration begins on Monday, April 30 for programs running June 25 through the end of August. Many activities fill up quickly, so be sure to register early to reserve your space! Parents Night Out
Parents, call it a break from the kids; kids call it a break from your parents. The City of Laguna Beach is hosting its quarterly Parents' Night Out so parents can enjoy some adult time to see a movie, catch up with friends or enjoy a kid-free meal. The children will have a blast at the Community and Susi Q Center with friends enjoying games, movies, arts and crafts, dinner, and video games.
This spring, the Laguna Playhouse is offering two tickets for the price of one to see Clybourne Park during Parents Night Out on June 15.
Junior Lifeguards
Registration for the 2018 JG program is now open the public.

May is American Stroke Month
Think FAST
Stroke is a disease that affects the arteries leading to and within the brain. It is the  No. 5 cause of death and a leading cause of disability in the United States.
Better brain health, including physical activity, is key to preventing stroke. It’s time to get your heart pumping, helping supply oxygen and blood flow to the brain with exercise. Walk, run, dance, even rake leaves. Activity throughout the day can make a big difference.
We're here to help! See page 42 of our summer brochure to learn about our #ActiveLaguna campaign, and get moving!
