T he IFOPA Reaches 30 Year Milestone

On June 8, 2018 , the IFOPA marked 30 years of advancing FOP research and supporting individuals and families living with FOP. Please join us in looking back over three decades of research milestones, friendships forged and life-changing connections made in our international FOP family over the years.
 
This year we will use a special “30 Years” logo as a constant reminder of how far the community has come. And watch for the special profiles of our esteemed IFOPA founders in the months ahead to find out what they hope for the next 30 years of the IFOPA.

Team #cureFOP Rides in the 2018 MDBR

Thank you to the 11 Team #cureFOP riders who participated in the Million Dollar Bike Ride on May 20!

My family and I had an amazing experience at the Million Dollar Bike Ride! In addition to a beautiful route and great weather, we had the opportunity to meet so many inspiring people also working towards a cure for FOP or another orphan disease. We rode in support of my sister, as well as the IFOPA and Penn Medicine for all they do in working to find a cure. I can't wait to participate again next year!

We've already raised $11,575 toward a new FOP research grant. Our goal is to raise $50,000 and every dollar raised is matched. You can still donate through June 30.

ACT for FOP Grant Program Deadline Approaching

The IFOPA recently opened the 2018 ACT for FOP grant program and is requesting research proposals by or before July 6, 2018 .

The research grant program provides, through a competitive application process, funding to scientists conducting research on FOP.

An Artful Life

Cassie Eckart is not letting FOP slow her fun down. Traveling to Los Angeles to view televised shows such as Dancing With the Stars, meeting celebrities and teaching a painting class are just a some of the things that Cassie does.

2018 FOP Family Gathering Preview and Stipend Application

There are a limited number of travel and/or lodging stipends available - a pplication deadline is Monday, July 9 .
