On Friday April 10th, the Dispensary of Hope will be closed in observance of Good Friday.

What this means for you:
  • Delivery - Orders that normally ship on Friday will instead ship on Monday April 13th. Please refer to your FedEx email for the most current tracking information, as your shipment will likely arrive one day later than usual.
  • eHope Ordering - You may continue to order through eHope as usual. However, if you have a ship day of Friday or Monday, you will need to submit your order by 6am central time on Wednesday April 8th to ensure shipment after Good Friday.

It's that time of year again for each site to report their utilization of the Dispensary of Hope medication! Understanding that your facility may be operating with essential staff only, we have extended the due date for quarterly utilization numbers for Q1 - 2020 to May 10th. Remember to enter the three metrics: Patient Encounters, 30-Day Fills, and Unique Patients.
  • Q1 - 2020: January, February, and March
  • Number of Patient Encounters
    • These patients may have presented in person or as a mail order fill.
  • Number of Prescriptions (30-Day Fills)
    • The number of 30-day fills dispensed during the quarter
  • Number of Unique Patients
    • The number of unduplicated individual patients that received Dispensary of Hope medication during the quarter.

focus Pharmacist Focus: COVID-19 Resources

Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians are front-line access points for patients in the medication use process. They calmly fulfill their roles optimizing medications at every juncture of the health care journey; yet, in times of an unprecedented medical crisis, pharmacists also need to care for themselves and their teams.

Our Director of Pharmaceutical Services, Dr. Hillary Blackburn served on a multi stakeholder task force, including community, health-system, industry, academia, and associations organized by The Pharmacist Moms Group to put together Coronavirus disease 19 (COVID-19) to create a guidance document for pharmacists who are providing direct patient care in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. The following measures are intended to protect the pharmacy team and their immediate families from spreading COVID-19.
