SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: BE PART OF "THE NET"

This year, the Sterling Heights Regional Chamber of Commerce will embark on new territory with our very own magazine for members -
the net . We are very excited to announce this publication and how you can be a part of it. We thought about creating a Chamber Directory and knew that it would probably sit on a shelf and not be read, so to encourage you to learn more about fellow members, member services and member events, we decided to create our very own magazine. With the help of Macomb Now Magazine , we anticipate a 24-page glossy magazine, with our own look and feel, telling the stories only we can tell about chamber members and the people behind the businesses the Sterling Heights Regional Chamber of Commerce interacts with every day.

Any advertising questions you have can be answered by Macomb Now's Ad Sales Representative Diane Bowles at (586.622.6621 x8) or the Chamber's Business Development Director Gina Rieck (586.731.5400 x15).

MEMBER TIP:
I NEED MORE TIME
Bert's major frustration was dealing with prospects who couldn't seem to make a decision.

During a weekly coaching session, he told his manager, Elaine, that one of his biggest difficulties was dealing with prospects who indicated the desire to make a decision, and who pledged to do so by a certain date. When the date rolls around, though, they invariably needed more time. "They're driving me crazy," Bert said.

Elaine asked: "Bert, are they driving you crazy? Or are you?"

M-59 RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT UPDATE FROM MDOT:

Last week, MDOT contractors worked to deliver on the 10-day promise to reopen Romeo Plank Road. In addition to working on Romeo Plank, a number of contractors have been onsite to prepare the roadway for a traffic switch on eastbound M-59 to the median to begin working on the outside two lanes. They plan to switch westbound traffic on Wednesday or Thursday this week as well.

After the traffic switch, preparations will be made to begin the closure of Romeo Plank at M-59 in both directions. When this work begins next Monday, access to Romeo Plank from M-59 will closed and traffic will be detoured. The posted detour is Garfield Road to 21 Mile Road (or 19 Mile Road). Just as with previous closures, MDOT contractors will work as hard as possible to minimize the inconvenience that this may cause. If you have any questions regarding this or any other upcoming work, please do not hesitate to contact MDOT.
