Welcome to Summer Camps 2018!
This newsletter is filled with information about the upcoming sessions' activities and points of emphasis that help make the camp a great experience for all. Let us know if you have any questions or if there is a way we can make camp an even better experience for your child.
Summer Camp Must Knows
  Check-In & Check-Out / Late Arrival & Early Departure
Front Loop of Sapp Recreation Center
Staff will leave the front door at 8:40 a.m. and will return at 3:55 p.m. All other drop offs and pick ups will occur at the Intramural/Summer Camps office, room #56. If you pull into the loop in front of CREC, you MUST remain in your car. This is a fire lane and you could be potentially towed if you leave your vehicle.

LATE ARRIVAL / EARLY DEPARTURE
To better serve our camp participants, we will offer three (3) primary shuttle times:

10:00 a.m.     Noon     2:00 p.m.

Shuttle to and from camper groups will be done as close to these times as possible. If your camper arrives outside of these times, our staff will do their best to take your camper to their group, but only as their schedule permits.
I.D. REQUIREMENT
Photo identification will be asked for upon check-out. I.D.s will be check EACH day to ensure camper safety.


Items to Bring
These items are needed everyday to ensure an enjoyable camp experience:
  • Closed-toe shoes
  • Water bottle
  • Sunscreen
  • Backpack
  • Swim wear & towel (every day for Husker Kids, Tues./Thurs. for Husker Adventures)
  • Lunch

Water Games
Campers will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of water activities, including slip 'n slides, water balloons, and running through the sprinklers.  If your child is not a regular swimmer, we ask they bring their swim belongings or clothing they can get wet, to wear at Water Games.
